So behind... dealing with sickies.
Taped socks on his hands to keep him from pulling the oxygen off. He was thrilled, as you can see.

My sister posted a peacock picture yesterday that was really cool. So I thought I'd post one today ;) from the zoo a week ago...
50mm 1.8 lens
Landscape Mode SOOC
ISO 100 f/7.1 1/125
CS5.1 (my trial version of PSE10 expired, so I'm now doing a trial version of CS5 before I pay to upgrade - my PSE8 is truly dead :( Plus, I wanted to make a few actions, so I will do that over the month and then have them for PSE10!) ::
1. Adjusted levels
2. Used this awesome 'content aware' thing in CS5 to delete the metal post and fill in with background - it rocks! Not sure if it rocks $600 worth...
3. Brightened eye with something I can't remember
4. Adjusted saturation

OK, catching up on some edits... remember the picture of Max crying in the snow from a few weeks ago? Maybe he was really crying because he had to wear his sister's hand-me-down pink boots, or that his hat kept falling over his eyes, or that he had to wear dorky knit gloves because his sister couldn't find hers and wore his good ones... hmmm??

The picture I sent to IDSC for Life... {yes, I waited til the last minute, and no, I hadn't even showered that day!}
They are creating a video to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st). They asked parents if they could go back and tell themselves one thing before they had their child who happens to have Down syndrome, what would that be. The video is suppose to be done today - I'll post a link!

This is not my photo - Yes, I stole it from http://www.mcpactions.com/blog/2011/09/16/beginners-to-photoshop-photo-editing-is-easier-than-you-think/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+mcpactions+%28MCP+Actions+Blog%29.
But it is my edit - so just ignore the before stamp on it ;) They posted a before and after tutorial. I wanted to see if I could re-create what they did with my own free downloaded actions, not theirs. I think it worked :)
